Name: Baked Stuffed Clams Serves: makes 24 Category: Hors D'oevres Cuisine: Source: Brenda Ingredients: 24 clam shells 2 cans Doxie minced clams Simmer clams with juice 1 Tbs lemon juice gently for 10 minutes 3 Tbs butter Saute onion, and other stuff 1 small onion in butter until soft 1 clove garlic minced 1/3 green pepper, minced dash cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp dried parsely 1/2 tsp dried oregano dash Tabsco sauce Combine clam mixture and onion mixture and add bread crumbs until mixture is consistency of oatmeal. Spoon into shells, top with bits of American cheese and/or grated Parmesan cheese plus dash of paprika. Bake 15 mins at 400F May be frozen and reheated
