Name: Key Lime Pie Serves: 8 Category: Desserts Cuisine: Florida Source: Tom&Anna Ingredients: 1 baked pie shell 4 egg yolks (save the whites) 1/2 cup Key Lime juice 1 8oz container Frozen Cool Whip (you'll use only 3/4s of it) 1 can sweetened condensed milk Combine milk, egg yolks and mix at low speed. Dribble in juice. Add 3/4s of the container of cool whip and mix on high until blended. Pour into baked shell. Spoon on meringue (see below) Bake 10 minutes at 350F or until peaks are golden Meringue: 4 egg whites 1/4 tsp Cream of tartar Whip until peaks form. Add 8 Tbs sugar and whip to blend
